We hope you had a relaxing summer and are very happy to be able to report news from the Scientific Society Autism Spectrum!
The WGAS has used the summer break to renew itself once all around. We are especially proud of our new website, which brings you some new features, but also some tried and true ones:
We decided to add a blog to the website. The blog replaces our newsletter, which was published twice a year. In the blog we will report about the Scientific Meeting Autism Spectrum (WTAS) and about current research on the autism spectrum. Here you can also actively contribute, for example, if you want to send a job application or are still looking for study participants.
As usual, you can find information about our Scientific Conference Autism Spectrum (WTAS) on the website. In the future, registration will take place via a new platform that is DSGVO-compliant.
You can now also find us on Twitter (Twitter handle: @WGAS_Autimus), where we will report on all happenings around the WGAS. Since we are still very freshly represented here, we would be happy about new followers and numerous retweets!
We also used the summer break to prepare our next meeting. The 14th WTAS will be held in Freiburg, Germany, March 16-17, 2023. The conference theme is Autism in Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics. Registration will open soon and until then we will give you a little taste:
We could win Dr. Ailsa Russell (UK) and Prof. Francesca Happé (UK) as international speakers for our conference program, who will report from their current research in two keynote lectures. Furthermore, you will be able to learn a lot about the clinical activities and research of Prof. Dr. Ludger Tebartz van Elst and Prof. Dr. Inge Kamp-Becker and their colleagues in lectures and workshops.
We hope you enjoy browsing through the website and will contact you again when registration opens.
